About the job
Own the Kubernetes experience for new AI accelerator hardware at Graphcore.
As a Senior Cloud Software Engineer, you will help bring new AI accelerator hardware into cloud native environments. You will build software that makes advanced compute accessible through Kubernetes.
Your work will shape how users deploy, manage and scale workloads on Graphcore systems. You will turn complex hardware integration into a reliable, native Kubernetes experience.
You will design and develop Go applications, integrate hardware with existing clusters, and solve deep technical problems across software and infrastructure. You will also review code, write documentation and contribute to strong engineering practice.
This is a role for someone who wants real ownership at the intersection of AI compute, Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
The team and cultureYou will work with engineers across hardware, software, systems and infrastructure. The work moves through clear technical discussion, strong ownership and direct feedback.
Engineers are expected to understand the problem, speak up early and take responsibility for outcomes. Decisions are guided by evidence, practical trade-offs and the needs of users.
You will help mentor others while staying close to hands-on engineering. The team values pace, curiosity and people who can turn ambiguity into working systems.
What we’re looking for- Strong software development experience, ideally in cloud or infrastructure environments
- Proficiency in Go and confidence building production-quality applications
- Deep Kubernetes experience, including container orchestration and cloud native development
- Strong Linux knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Proven ability to deliver complex technical solutions with clear ownership
- Clear communication skills, with the confidence to mentor, review code and work across teams

Skills Required
- Strong Go programming experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience, with at least 10 years of software development experience.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture.
- Solid Linux understanding and cloud-native mindset.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor other engineers.
- English C1 level.
- Local to Gdańsk due to hybrid working policy.
- Familiarity with machine learning-related Kubernetes technologies (Kubeflow, Karmada, Kueue, KubeVirt, Kata containers, Volcano).
- Knowledge of RDMA networks.
- Familiarity with workload managers such as Ray and SLURM.
