AlertMedia is looking for an Enterprise Regional Vice President, to bring leadership and mentorship to a team of Enterprise Account Directors (ADs) in our strategic, consultative, conversational sales environment. We have a group of talented ADs selling our emergency communication, threat intelligence, and travel risk management software to companies larger than 5,000 employees, across all industries, all over the world. You will have the opportunity to grow AlertMedia’s business significantly, focusing on strategic enterprise targets. You will be responsible for helping ADs drive net new business within their territories, and assist them with improving their prospecting, discovery, demo, and closing tactics to meet and exceed their sales goals.

You are passionate about being a mentor, actively engaging with your team, and leading-by-example. You recognize that accountability is key and hold your team to a high standard without being afraid to set great expectations of what success and performance management looks like. You are a coach, trainer, and love to help your team follow a great process from top of funnel through bottom.
What you get to do every day:
- Excel as a coach by engaging in weekly call coaching sessions with your team, leveraging real-time insight tools such as Gong
- Become an expert in the AlertMedia sales process, so you can train, guide, and mentor your team of Enterprise Account Directors to success
- Become an expert in the AlertMedia software, our market, and our customer stories and buyer personas so you can evangelize AlertMedia and skillfully lead prospects through the AlertMedia buyer journey
- Work closely with Account Directors to help them be great at following our process of what a great buyer journey looks like from initial call through negotiation
- Manage your team’s performance and sales pipeline; roll up pipeline, forecast, and performance to leadership
- Train new Account Directors on the AlertMedia product and sales process; conduct ongoing review of Account Director performance against expectations, offering guidance and support for improvement
- Assist ADs with partnering with Enterprise Sales Development Representatives to engage potential customers and drive additional prospecting and help with territory plan to maximize successful initial conversations.
- Use a consultative approach to advise prospects on how AlertMedia can help solve their communication challenges; conversationally demonstrate AlertMedia’s products and key differentiators
- Assist ADs in the transition of closed accounts to assigned Implementation Manager to ensure a smooth deployment and drive towards expansion when it makes sense
- Work with an incredible leadership team who are committed to the success of our enterprise segment
- Partner with an exceptional marketing team that is aligned and shares our common goals
What you bring to the role:
- 7-10+ years of consultative sales experience (at a SaaS company, preferably)
- Previous successful sales management experience
- Ability and willingness to travel within your Regional Territory 10-20% of the time
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual quotas
- Experience working with enterprise-level organizations and stakeholders
- History of prospecting and closing new accounts to help coach, advise and hold ADs accountable to a great territory plan
- A background of negotiating enterprise-level deals with integrity; including the ability to turn pricing conversations into value-add conversations
- Tons of energy, humor, compassion, and enthusiasm
- A passion for continual learning with a desire and willingness to be coached
- Ongoing transparent communications about activities with leadership
- Ability to thrive with autonomy in a fast-paced environment, while also collaborating cross-functionally (Technical, Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing)
- Experience managing activities and reporting in Salesforce to drive needed behaviors and provide accurate forecasting
- Understanding of what a great call coaching session looks like to help ADs improve on a weekly basis
- Entrepreneurial mindset – approaching the role as though it is your own business
- A strong contributor to a positive, transparent, energetic, and compassionate culture
