Compensation
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $180,200.00 - $300,300.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to $$63,800.00, based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change.

Position Details
The Regional Sales Vice President will be responsible for promoting profitable and sustainable growth and performance consistent with our strategic direction by supporting the business development of Government and Healthcare segmented customers covered by a group of Inside Sellers. This role will be responsible for successfully managing and expanding $750-$800 million in revenue and responsibility for approximately 100 sales employees (9 Inside Sales Leaders and 90 Inside Sellers). You will report directly to the Functional Vice President of Inside Sales.
You Will
- Promote profitable sales growth for customers assigned to the region; prioritize resources against largest opportunities.
- Achieve/exceed growth and profitability targets by demonstrating strong business and financial acumen.
- Demonstrate leader effectiveness to optimize sales team size, structure, and alignment to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Select, coach, develop, retain, and inspire Inside Sales Managers in the region.
- Provide sales leadership and demonstrate understanding of sales environment and issues (e.g., growth prospects, sales team turnover).
- Coordinate with service organizations across the region (e.g., Safety, eCommerce, Inventory Management, Branches, Distribution Centers, Contracts/Implementation Team, Overlay Sales and Coverage Partners).
- Collaborate with partners internally and take ownership to maintain important customer relationships.
- Develop strategies to promote customer attraction and retention programs.
- Take self-initiative and assist Inside Sales Managers in their understanding and commitment to live the Grainger values and principles.
You Have
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Proven success of strong leadership philosophies sales and skills, customer segment intel, and knowledge of the competitive environment. Strong acumen and compliance is required to help adhere and manage the legal and regulatory issues which affect the business.
- Successful experience in leading and growing large teams.
- Skills necessary to coach and counsel teams.
- Must be accomplished at identifying and creating opportunities for developing team member potential.
- Must be experienced with resource allocation.
- Financial skills necessary to create business strategies, cost/budgets, and economic earnings.
- Minimal travel is required as part of this role, but the expectation is to be live in the office supporting the teams at minimum 3 full-time days per week.
