What You'll Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or the software solutions industry.
  • Degree in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience with agile methodologies in project management.
  • Proficiency in English is a must have.
  • Excellent teamwork and ability to influence others. Proven capacity for consensus and executing strategy.
  • Effectively faces complexity and change.
  • Teamwork: comfortable in a matrix environment. Cooperates with colleagues to establish a collaborative and effective working relationship in general, and especially with operations, support, IT, and Product Strategy teams.
  • Must have excellent verbal and creative writing skills. Able to translate technical information into terms that non-technical users understand.

Impact You'll Make:

The Product Owner is responsible for executing the implementation plan for new products in Latin America and for the ongoing development of the solutions offered by TransUnion. They must ensure that the implementations under their responsibility meet agreed deadlines and remain within budget. Additionally, they must collaborate with Technology teams to ensure that the time to market aligns with the expectations of the Latin American market.

They must work to ensure that the Customer Support and Operations teams are familiar with the products, so these are executed appropriately, customers receive adequate support, and the products perform as expected. In case of deviations in any of the aforementioned areas, they must create action plans to resolve them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the capex of the projects under their responsibility. Will work with Product Strategy, IT, and Operations to ensure resources are working on the right projects and that deadlines and delivery quality are met.
  • Periodically monitor the performance of the products and, if any issues are detected, will manage the action plan to resolve them.
  • Plan, schedule, and budget the initiatives under their responsibility. Will track project management to ensure there are no deviations in execution time, budget, and scope .
  • Draft the requirements for new implementations and agreed maintenance with the Product Strategy area. Will conduct UAT tests to ensure they align with the requirements presented.
  • Make decisions to resolve daily obstacles and escalates when necessary.
  • Design the processes that support the necessary activities to address client requirements for the products under their responsibility. Identifies possible risks and designs controls to mitigate or eliminate them.
  • Develop training plans for the support, operations, and Customer Engineer teams and any other back office area. These areas must have the necessary knowledge to address any client requirements.
  • Ensure that client onboarding is simple and efficient.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
