Main Duties
Main Duties
- Delivering assigned project tasks according to agreed commitments.
- Designs, develops, validates, and improves electrical, electronic, and embedded control systems for new and existing products.
- Designs for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and signal integrity, including grounding, shielding, filtering, and PCB layout practices.
- Plans, executes, and documents prototype builds, verification testing, validation activities, and design reviews.
- Leads technical investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions related to electrical design issues, customer complaints, and product failures.
- Supports Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Testability (DFT), and Design for Reliability (DFR) initiatives.
- Supports software and firmware development activities related to embedded systems, automation controls, and data acquisition applications.
- Evaluates and integrates new electrical technologies, components, and engineering tools to improve product performance and manufacturing capability.
- Develops engineering documentation including specifications, design reports, validation protocols and reports, test procedures, work instructions, and technical standards.
- Supports technical customer reviews, product qualification programs, and customer acceptance activities.
- Drives cost reduction, reliability improvement, quality enhancement, and productivity initiatives through engineering solutions and innovation.
- Ensures compliance with applicable safety, regulatory, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Conducts technical training and knowledge transfer activities for Engineering, Production, and Technical Support personnel.
Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems or related engineering discipline. Licensed PRC Engineer is an advantage.
- Minimum three (3) years related experience in electrical product development, embedded systems, industrial automation, or electronic design.
- Relevant experience in medical device manufacturing or a regulated industry or equivalent high reliability product lines is an advantage
- Experience in electrical system design, testing, and validation.
- Experience with hardware, software and mechanical integration is preferred.
- Knowledge of product development lifecycle, validation methodologies, and technical documentation for medical devices.
- Experience supporting international engineering projects is an advantage
- Knowledge in ERP system is an advantage
Skills
- Strong understanding of electrical and electronic engineering principles.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and microcontroller-based applications.
- Knowledge of EMC/EMI design principles — grounding, shielding, filtering, and low-noise PCB layout for sensitive analog front-end circuits
