We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

PayPal, Inc. seeks Operations Research Analyst in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Innovate the PayPal customer experience and communication strategy, including content strategy performance and marketing best practices. Develop and test deliverables aimed at creating a personalized experience for PayPal customers, with the optimal customer journey towards increased engagement. Drive step change in performance through centralized optimization model, producing testing frameworks and playbooks. Deliver success against KPIs by executing on prioritized and planned initiatives and contributing to ECM roadmap. Participate in regular cadences evaluating touchpoint performance and identifying trends in delivery and yield. Support modern performance network and help enable the new technologies for performance marketing in service of consumer engagement across owned channel touchpoints, offers and segments. Prepare and deliver well-organized program read-outs, insights, and learnings on a regular basis. Telecommuting permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Minimum Requirements: Five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Five years of experience must include:

1. Marketing in e-commerce and fin-tech industry

2. Developing and implementing user acquisition strategy

3. Lifecycle management operations and Campaign automation implementation

4. Using Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence to drive marketing owned channel’s performance (revenue, conversion, and relevance)

5. Experience leveraging commonly used marketing channels: Email, push, onsite, and SMS

6. Ability to set up multi-channel marketing campaigns end to end (high, med, and low complexity)

7. Data driven campaign targeting management

8. HTML / email template development

Additional Job Description:

Base salary: $142,500-185,300 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
