We're looking for a Media Relations Lead to own external communications across North America and LATAM (Brazil and Mexico). More than anything, this person lives for media relations, with particular strength in financial and business media. You'll be the senior media voice for these regions: setting strategy, running campaigns end to end, and partnering with regional teams to find and shape the local stories that land.
As a public company, much of monday.com's reputation is shaped in the financial press. This role owns how we show up across top-tier financial outlets and NASDAQ/ stock exchange media, working closely with Investor Relations, Legal, and corporate stakeholders to ensure communications are accurate and on-message during earnings, disclosures, and sensitive moments. Just as important is the everyday work of building our employer brand across the region, surfacing culture and local stories from our offices in New York, Denver, and our remote team to show what it's really like to work at monday.com.
This role sits within the Global Communications team.
About the Role
Set media strategy across NAM and LATAM and own the results.
Lead financial and business media relations, shaping how monday.com is covered as a public company across top-tier financial outlets and NASDAQ / stock-exchange media.
Partner with Investor Relations, Legal, and corporate stakeholders on earnings, disclosures, and sensitive moments, keeping communications accurate, on-message, and compliant.
Work with client-facing teams: sales, partnerships, customer success, marketing, and more, to surface local stories, then turn them into campaigns across the US and key LATAM markets. Every employee is a potential spokesperson, and you'll know how to spot and activate them.
Partner with the site's employer brand function, alongside team leads and the Director, to connect media efforts to business needs, from spotlighting recruiting profiles and hiring priorities to elevating customer stories.
Manage our external agency relationships across the region, currently three agencies.
Develop reactive responses and provide crisis counsel and spokesperson prep.
Represent the monday.com brand, its values, and its key messages.
Requirements
Skilled at spotting stories with coverage potential, and shaping the right media angle based on the business need and where media attention is heading.
10+ years in media relations within technology, in-house or agency, including hands-on financial / business media experience.
A strong network across US technology, financial, and business media.
Proven experience partnering with IR, Legal, and corporate teams on public-company communications, earnings, and sensitive disclosures.
A natural leader who rallies teams and agencies, and partners closely with leadership and functions to deliver campaigns.
Outcomes-focused, highly organized, and detail-driven.
