- The Supervisor II, Application Data & Cloud Security job sets goals and objectives for the achievement of operational results for the team responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing security measures across development, security and operations, software as a service or platform as a service and multi-cloud environments. This job leads the team to ensure the security of enterprise wide cyber systems and networks, partnering to safeguard data integrity and maintain compliance with industry standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of transactional security services across application, data, and cloud.
- Act as the operational owner for security service intake, fulfillment, and performance management.
- Partner with security product owner to translate security capabilities into clearly defined operational services.
- Align service delivery with evolving security strategies, priorities, and risk considerations.
- Serve as a key interface between security teams, technology stakeholders, and service consumers.
- Monitor service demand, throughput, and quality, using data to drive informed decisions.
- Drive standardization, simplification, and automation of security service delivery.
- Promote a service‑oriented mindset focused on efficiency, transparency, and customer outcome.
- Set expectations with stakeholders regarding service scope, timelines, and outcomes.
- Provide clear visibility into service performance, trends, and improvement initiatives.
- Represent security services in cross‑functional discussions related to operations and delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of 10 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.
- Broad domain knowledge across Application Security, Data Security, and Cloud Security.
- 7+ years of experience in technology operations, service management, or security operations within a large enterprise environment.
- Hands-on experience operating transactional, request-based services at scale.
- Strong understanding of IT service management concepts (intake, SLAs, workflows, metrics, continuous improvement).
- Proven ability to partner effectively with Product Managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in product-aligned security organizations where services are delivered as consumable offerings.
- Familiarity with security tooling and platforms used across application, data, and cloud environments.
- Experience driving service automation and self-service capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use operational data to influence decisions.
- Service-oriented mindset with strong operational discipline
