The Senior Consultant - Data & Analytics (Smart Manufacturing) plays a critical role in enabling Smart Manufacturing initiatives by translating manufacturing business needs into scalable data and analytics solutions. This role focuses on capturing and analyzing complex manufacturing data requirements, defininganalyticsand reporting solutions, and working closely with development, data engineering, IT, and OT teams to design, test, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Operating with minimal supervision, the consultant serves as a bridge between manufacturing stakeholders and technical teams-ensuring analytics products, features, and insights align with operationalobjectivesand deliver measurable business value.
Key Accountabilities
- DATA &REQUIREMENTANALYSIS:Lead analysis of complex manufacturing data, reporting, and analytics requirements across Smart Manufacturing initiatives. Elicit, document, and prioritize requirements; define analytics use cases, solution scope, and acceptance criteria. Act as a functional and solution consultant for analytics-enabled manufacturing capabilities.
- DATA ANALYSIS: Conducts complex data analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights for decision making.
- STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Cultivates andmaintainspositive partner's relationships to understand their data/insightneeds, provides insights and finds improvement opportunities, and ensures solutions address keyobjectives.
- SOLUITION TRANSLATION AND DELIVERY:Translate data insights and business requirements into analytics features and reporting capabilities, partnering with development and data engineering teams to deliver scalable,highqualitysolutions.
- COLLABORATION:Work with minimal supervision to collaborate with business partners and crossfunctional IT and OT teams to align analytics solutions with product vision and operationalobjectives.
- LITERACY: Coaches and advisesto maturedata consumption and analytics capabilities.
- QUALITY ASSURANCE & DATA VALIDATION: Ensures the accuracy, consistency, and security of data across all reports and analyses.Support system integration, testing, validation, and user acceptance to ensure solutions meet functional and quality expectations
Qualifications
- Have an Engineering degree with minimumrequirementof8years of relevant work experience.
- Workedas functional/solution consultant inManufacturing IT domain involving implementation of one or more initiativesaround:MES/MOM,ManufacturingReporting, Smart Manufacturing
- UnderstandISA 95, S-88standardsandmanufacturingdata domain model
- Experience with Agilemethodologyin project implementation
- Worked in at least one initiative involving machine learning / AI implementation in smart manufacturing initiative
