MetLife Compensation & Benefits Highlights

  • Retirement Support — Retirement offerings include both a company 401(k) match and a pension/cash-balance component for eligible employees, which is highlighted as a notable strength. This combination is described as providing stronger long-term security than a 401(k) alone.
  • Healthcare Strength — Health coverage is described as broad with family options and relatively low premiums, and medical, dental, and vision plans are often cited as standouts. Additional wellbeing resources such as counseling, condition-specific programs, and related support further reinforce this area.
  • Leave & Time Off Breadth — Paid time off is often characterized as generous, with many noting good work-life balance in several departments. Parental and family support resources also appear in the package, adding flexibility for caregiving needs.
