The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to lead our electrical testing laboratory in Ballerup, Denmark. In this role, you will be responsible for the operational, technical, and quality performance of the laboratory, ensuring exceptional service delivery while supporting the development of new testing capabilities and the growth of our business.
This is an opportunity for a strong people leader with a background in electrical engineering, laboratory operations, and quality management who enjoys balancing technical excellence, customer focus, and team development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
What You'll Do
As Laboratory Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our laboratory by:• Leading and coordinating daily laboratory activities, workload planning, and resource allocation• Managing laboratory budgets and ensuring efficient utilization of personnel, facilities, and equipment• Driving the implementation of new testing services and capabilities to meet evolving customer and market requirements• Managing key customer relationships and supporting the successful execution of strategic projects• Ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and other applicable accreditation requirements• Maintaining and continuously improving laboratory quality systems, procedures, and documentation• Participating in internal and external audits and leading corrective and preventive actions when required• Developing, coaching, and motivating laboratory personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence• Establishing and maintaining training, competency, and proficiency programs for laboratory staff• Supporting the development and maintenance of state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and testing methods• Driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline• Proven leadership experience as a Laboratory Manager, Team Leader, Supervisor, or similar people-management role• Strong knowledge and practical experience working within ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory environments• Demonstrated experience in project management, including implementation of new services, laboratory development projects, or customer-focused initiatives• Experience in manufacturing, production, R&D, testing, certification, or quality-driven technical environments• Experience managing budgets, resources, and operational performance• Strong understanding of quality management systems and audit processes• Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing skills• Strong communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience within electrical testing, product compliance, or certification environments• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies• Experience working with international customers and cross-functional teams
