• Follows complex defined test plans and datasheets utilizing a single technology with necessary support. Evaluates test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results. Records and explains test results and completes test report. • Serves as Lead for test programs as assigned. Communicates project status and results as needed. Holds responsibility for defining test plan, report completion and accuracy, meeting of agreed deadlines, and managing project related activities. • Examines complex customer samples and learns to operate appropriate tests for each case. Communicates with internal customers during setup and operation to ensure proper evaluation. • Understands and is able to explain specific test standards for scope of responsibility • Directs, builds and/or adapts test setups, sample prepatarions/solutions and instruments for assigned work, based on test plans and instructions from engineering. • Operates and maintains complex test instruments appropriately to measure and test customer samples. Performs complex maintenance on designated test instruments and laboratory area. May perform complex calibration of test instruments • Integrates basic continuous improvement concepts and techniques for both process and instruments. Communicates with management and technical staff to provide suggestions for new instruments, processes, and forms to improve accuracy and efficiencies. • Assists Senior Laboratory Chemists in the implementation / validation of new test methods and follows safe chemical hygiene practices. • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices • Other duties as assigned
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To prepare sample as per SOP & TRF sheet.
- To help the chemist as per their instruction.
- To follow the SOP for all analytical test & good laboratories practices.
- Update the test result in software on the basis of lab finding & following client's requirement and test standard.
- To update all QC document at sample preparation area.
- To ensure the maintenance, calibration & documentation at sample preparation area.
- To maintain and follow up the ISO 9001 and ISO 17025, to report directly to the Analytical Lab Manager.
- To follow all safety rules and protect self as required and instructed.
- To follow all the rules and regulations of the laboratory.
- To perform any other task assigned by the Analytical Lab Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree or diploma from an accredited university through a formal program of study in Chemistry, Chemical
Engineering, Biochemistry, Organic/Inorganic Chemistry, Material Science but not limited to these disciplines only plus
generally two years of directly related work experience or equivalent education and experience• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high quality and exceptional customer service. • Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with Engineering and other Laboratory personnel to complete projects in
a timely manner with high quality. • Demonstrated ability to analyze special testing needs. • Effective communication skills and ability to interact with customers • Demonstrated ability to be innovative and creative • Desire to work in a team-oriented environment • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite is a must • Ability to incorporate automation into day-to-day testing

Skills Required
