What you will do:
We are seeking a skilled L2 Test Automation Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using JMeter, Selenium, Cucumber, and Appium. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with test management tools (TestLink or equivalent) and bug tracking systems (Bugzilla or equivalent). This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to ensure software quality across web, mobile, and API platforms.
Test Automation Development
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and mobile testing.
- Use Selenium and Cucumber for web application automation.
- Use Appium for mobile application testing.
- Use JMeter for performance and load testing.
Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience: 3–5 years in test automation with hands-on expertise in:
- Automation Tools: Selenium, Cucumber, Appium.
- Performance Testing: JMeter.
- Test Management: TestLink or equivalent
- Bug Tracking: Bugzilla or equivalent
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Java, Python, or similar languages for test script development.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools for integrating automated tests.
- Understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with QA leads, developers, and product managers to ensure timely test execution. Provide clear and concise test execution reports and defect metrics. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation coverage.
Test Management & Defect Tracking
Use TestLink (or equivalent tool) to manage test cases, execution cycles, and reporting. Log, track, and verify defects using Bugzilla (or equivalent bug tracking tool). Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
Test Planning & Execution
Participate in requirement analysis, test case design, and test planning activities. Execute automated and manual tests as needed, ensuring test coverage and accuracy. Maintain and update the automation framework for reusability and scalability.
