We're building our reseller channel in Japan from the ground up. As our first Channel Sales Coordinator, you'll help turn early partner relationships into a repeatable program. You'll keep onboarding, contracts, training, and day-to-day requests moving while helping us improve the processes behind them.
This is a hands-on role with room to grow. You'll do well here if you take initiative, enjoy working with people, and can make progress before every process is fully defined.
What you'll do
- Coordinate reseller onboarding, from initial paperwork through training and launch readiness.
- Prepare and track contracts, partner records, and other sales administration.
- Help partners get the information and support they need to start selling.
- Work with sales, operations, and other teams to resolve partner questions and remove blockers.
- Keep partner activity, next steps, and reporting accurate and up to date.
- Spot gaps in the partner experience and help build better workflows as the channel grows.
What you'll bring
- Experience in sales coordination, partner operations, sales support, or a related role.
- Fluent Japanese and English, with the ability to work confidently with partners and colleagues in both languages.
- Strong organization and follow-through across multiple priorities.
- A proactive, resourceful approach to work that does not yet have a playbook.
- Clear communication and a collaborative working style.
- Interest in building a reseller program and growing your career in channel sales.

What We Do
Since we opened our doors in 2009, the world of commerce has evolved immensely, and so has Square. After enabling anyone to take payments and never miss a sale, we saw sellers stymied by disparate, outmoded products and tools that wouldn’t work together. So we expanded into software and started building integrated, omnichannel solutions – to help sellers sell online, manage inventory, offer buy now, pay later functionality through Afterpay, book appointments, engage loyal buyers, and hire and pay staff. Across it all, we’ve embedded financial services tools at the point of sale, so merchants can access a business loan and manage their cash flow in one place. Afterpay furthers our goal to provide omnichannel tools that unlock meaningful value and growth, enabling sellers to capture the next generation shopper, increase order sizes, and compete at a larger scale. Today, we are a partner to sellers of all sizes – large, enterprise-scale businesses with complex operations, sellers just starting, as well as merchants who began selling with Square and have grown larger over time. As our sellers grow, so do our solutions. There is a massive opportunity in front of us. We’re building a significant, meaningful, and lasting business, and we are helping sellers worldwide do the same.
