Summary Generated by Built In

We are Rokt.
We are the global leader in ecommerce, on a mission to make every transaction more relevant. We've built our business around the Transaction Moment™, the span from cart to confirmation where customer attention and intent peak, and where more than 90% of ecommerce companies' ancillary revenue potential sits.

The Rokt Brain leverages advanced machine learning to determine the next best action for every customer in real time across the Rokt Network, powering 13 billion transactions a year for brands like: Live Nation, Fanatics, Macy's, AMC Theatres, PayPal, Uber, Hulu, Albertsons and more. Since 2012 we've grown from a Sydney startup, to a $3.5B company with 700+ Rokt'stars across eight offices and 15 markets, sustaining a Compound Annual Growth Rate of 40%+ for over a decade.

At Rokt, we practice transparency in career paths and compensation, which is why we have a well-defined career ladder with clear compensation and career paths based on competency and ability.

Target total compensation ranges from $233,000 - $308,000, including a fixed annual salary of $145,000 - $175,000 (including superannuation), target quarterly variable compensation, an employee equity plan grant, and world-class benefits. This is the expected range for the role. Final compensation is determined by the level assessed through the interview process and based on how your experience and skills map to our career ladder.

Equity grants are issued in good faith, subject to company policies, board approval, and individual eligibility.

About the role:

Rokt is a unique performance marketing channel helping advertisers diversify spend away from legacy platforms. You'll drive advertiser demand across ANZ, securing new partnerships with brands looking to reach highly engaged audiences in the Transaction Moment. You'll need to understand the digital advertising ecosystem, navigate multi-stakeholder marketing organizations, and position Rokt as a serious, differentiated growth channel.

You'll own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, running a high-volume outbound motion and multiple concurrent deal cycles. You'll multi-thread senior marketing and performance stakeholders, build in-market relationships through direct engagement and industry events, and hand off cleanly to Customer Success once deals close so new advertisers launch with a clear commercial and strategic brief.

We're looking for someone deeply curious, who leads with conviction and thrives when things move fast and change often.

We are an AI-first company.
We're a team of builders. That means the person who spots the problem is usually the person who fixes it, and "someone should build a tool for that" is treated as a volunteer sign-up sheet. We use AI and automation tools to move faster, and expect you to figure things out when the path isn't obvious. If you prefer established processes and clearly defined lanes, you probably won't like it here.

How your future team uses AI:

To research advertiser accounts before the first touch, building a view of a prospect's marketing spend, channel mix, and performance priorities without waiting on anyone. Outreach gets drafted against that research rather than a template, and agents keep pipeline hygiene, meeting notes, and next steps moving so selling time stays selling time. You'll build your own tooling for the repetitive parts of the cycle and treat a manual step done twice as a thing to automate.

Responsibilities

  • Own an advertiser demand revenue target and the entire sales cycle, from outbound prospecting to complex enterprise closes
  • Build and run a high-volume outbound pipeline, using AI-assisted research and sequencing while owning strategy and relationship-building yourself
  • Multi-thread senior stakeholder relationships within target advertiser organizations, from initial contact through to signed commercial agreement
  • Maintain consistent in-market presence: attend industry events and build relationships with advertiser and agency leadership
  • Own a named account territory plan, and run multiple active deal cycles concurrently with clear judgment on where to prioritize
  • Partner closely with Customer Success on handoff at close, so new advertisers move into launch with a clear brief
  • Lead with clear recommendations grounded in performance marketing expertise; don't present menus, present solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Applied AI teams to represent advertiser feedback in the product roadmap
  • Continuously refine sales tactics and share best practices. We win as a team

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing commercial role, with a track record of running complex deal cycles independently, ideally selling into performance marketing, adtech, or ecommerce buyers
  • Strong performance marketing fluency: able to discuss and problem-solve against ROAS/CPA, incrementality/attribution concepts, measurement design, and channel comparability with sophisticated teams
  • Excellent executive communication and presence: able to run high-stakes meetings, influence without authority, and create clarity across complex stakeholder groups
  • Proven judgment in prioritizing a high-volume pipeline across concurrent opportunities at different stages
  • Builder mindset and operational discipline: you proactively remove friction, create scalable playbooks, and thrive in a fast-changing environment
  • Comfortable using AI tooling to increase research and sequencing throughput, while owning the strategic and relationship-building work yourself
  • Willingness to be in the Sydney office at least 4 days per week and to travel for in-market client and industry engagement

About Rokt'stars:

We move fast and decide with incomplete information, because a good decision this week can lead to a perfect one next quarter. We work as one team, which means the best idea wins regardless of who raised it or what level they are. We hire people who are brilliant and humble and who are obsessed with making the customer successful.

Benefits

  • Equity in a profitable, fast-growing company approaching $1 Billion in revenue
  • Every employee has enterprise access to leading AI tools, building AI fluency as a core skill
  • Monthly Wellness & Cell Phone Allowances, annual technology allowance
  • Catered lunch every day and a fully stocked pantry
  • Quarterly performance reviews for most roles, so feedback and promotion decisions don't wait
  • Extra leave (bonus annual leave, sabbatical leave etc.)
  • We believe we're better together. Most teams are in the office minimum 4 days per week
