Consumer Senior Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION
Under limited supervision, independently manages execution and timely completion of Consumer projects by analyzing project scope and determining project specifications, establishing test programs for product investigations, and preparing reports for clients.
Communicates with clients to explain benefits of new and existing services.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently determines project scope, develops a preliminary plan of investigation,
• and determines project specifications such as cost, time, and requirements.
• Initiates communication with clients to promote and explain the benefits of new and existing services. Follows up on contacts from clients. Communicates with clients to discuss technical issues, procedures and requirements. Acts to address client concerns and resolve complex client issues.
• Establishes more complex test programs by reviewing files and client specific technical information.
• Coordinates laboratory activities by preparing data sheets and providing instructions to technicians, scheduling and reviewing work of laboratory technicians and engineering support staff, and establishing completion dates.
• Communicates project status and results and proactively addresses client needs.
• Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.
• Proposes development of new and/or revised project requirements for the business.
• May direct and review work of Laboratory and Consumer Engineers. Provides technical assistance to laboratory staff.
• Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices.
• Performs other duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS
AI tools and knowlege framework establish experience is as essential. Lab and electrical background is preferred.
