Role Description: Commercial Account Executive – South Central
Role Purpose:
Wasabi Technologies is looking for an enthusiastic, driven and ambitious Commercial Account
Executive. In this role, you will be selling into Wasabi’s South Central Region with a focus on
Enterprise accounts in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and New Mexico.
You’ll prospect for new business, convert warm leads cultivated by Wasabi’s marketing and
business development teams, and grow existing customer accounts. You’ll have a full arsenal of
resources to help prospects understand the disruptive price, performance, and protection
benefits of Wasabi hot cloud storage.

Responsibilities:
● Drive account strategies and coordinate team selling efforts with partners to close
business
● Prospect into and penetrate new accounts, reaching decision-makers and closing
business
● Collaborate with partners to map accounts, identify whitespace, and uncover new
revenue opportunities
● Manage your sales pipeline with precision—forecast accurately, maintain deal hygiene,
and drive deals to close
● Serve as a trusted advisor to end-user customers, building long-term relationships and
understanding their evolving needs
● Uncover and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize customer value
● Leverage channel and technology alliance partnerships within the data storage and
protection ecosystem to accelerate sales
Requirements:
● 3 - 5 years of technology sales experience (storage experience a plus)
● A self-starter with experience in B2B sales or channel sales
● Skilled at outbound prospecting, partner collaboration, and navigating complex sales
cycles
● Excellent communicator with a talent for building rapport and trust with partners and
customers
● Results-oriented, with a passion for driving revenue and exceeding goals
● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
● Salesforce.com or HubSpot CRM experience
● Sales training and AI certification a plus
● Coachable and open to feedback on suggested alternative methods and processes
● Creative team player, willing to make positive suggestions to further the team’s success
The On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is between $160K- $190K
