Role Description: Sr. Solutions Architect - EST Zone. 

Role Purpose: 

Wasabi is looking for a Sr. Solutions Architect with experience in AWS or other public cloud object storage platforms to join our fast-moving and collaborative team. This is a great opportunity to use your storage, networking, and cloud experience while working with technology that operates at a large scale. You’ll partner with talented teams across Wasabi to design solutions, support deployments, troubleshoot complex issues, and help customers get the most out of our services. You’ll also have the chance to work closely with S3-based storage, share new ideas, simplify complex problems, and help improve how we work. We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, values a great customer experience, and is excited to keep learning as cloud technology continues to evolve. Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with customers and channel partners to understand their technical needs and design cloud storage solutions that support their business goals.
  • Serve as a technical resource throughout the sales process, including solution design, product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer workshops.
  • Help customers integrate Wasabi with public cloud platforms, applications, backup solutions, and other technologies using S3 and related APIs.
  • Troubleshoot storage, networking, security, and integration issues while working closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support teams.
  • Create technical documentation, best practices, and repeatable solutions that make implementations easier for customers and partners.
  • Stay current on cloud storage technologies and industry trends, and bring customer feedback back to internal teams to help improve the product and customer experience. 

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Sales Engineering, Support Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including object storage technologies such as Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, or Google Cloud Storage.
  • Strong understanding of S3 APIs, cloud storage permissions and policies, networking concepts, and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and SSL/TLS.
  • Experience presenting technical solutions to customers and partners, with the ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear and simple way.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer needs and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience with Linux, scripting or programming fundamentals, backup or data protection technologies, enterprise environments, mission critical 24x7 systems, or channel partners is a plus. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred. 

Compensation:  

Base Salary – $140,000 - 170,000 

The base salary range reflects the full range for this position at Wasabi Technologies. At Wasabi, we believe in paying fairly and competitively, and individual compensation is determined based on factors such as job-related experience, skills, location, and internal equity. Base pay is just one part of our total rewards approach. Depending on role eligibility, Wasabi team members may also receive additional compensation and benefits, including bonus or variable compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support both professional growth and personal well-being.
