The Business Systems Administrator supports the ongoing administration and maintenance of the Salesforce platform and related business systems. This role ensures system stability, user enablement, and efficient operations by managing configurations, data integrity, and routine enhancements. The administrator collaborates closely with business stakeholders to translate functional needs into practical technical solutions, enabling improved productivity and operational consistency across departments in a global, fast-paced, and highly integrated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Salesforce environments, including user setup, profiles, roles, permissions.
- Maintain and enhance standard and custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and automation tools (e.g., Flows, Validation Rules).
- Continuously enhance system capabilities by applying Salesforce best practices and new platform features.
- Support integrations between Salesforce and connected systems, including marketing and operations platforms.
- Partner with business users to troubleshoot issues, document requirements, and deliver small-scale enhancements.
- Maintain data quality through imports, deduplication, and governance practices.
- Assist with testing, release management, and documentation of system changes.
- Collaborate with senior administrators and developers to implement enterprise-wide improvements.
- Participate in cross-functional project, ensuring adherence to IT standards and best practices.
- Provide user support, training, and enablement, driving adoption and consistent usage across departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–4 years of hands-on Salesforce administration (Sales and Service Cloud)
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration capabilities and user management.
- Experience maintaining integrations or APIs in a supervised or guided capacity.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple administrative tasks concurrently.
- Clear communication skills and ability to partner effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agile development and relevant work management tools (eg. Jira, GitHub)
- Familiar with release process/deployment process using Gearset or any equivalent tool.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified Administrator and/or App Builder certifications.
- Experience working in a highly integrated SFDC environment (e.g., Marketo, Outreach, Clari, Chili Piper) or related SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with data management tools and reporting within Salesforce.
- Experience working in an enterprise environment with defined change management processes.
- Hands-on experience owning Salesforce in a global, fast-paced enterprise environment
- Fast learner with a continuous improvement mindset
- Creative, out-of-the-box thinker with strong technology and process orientation
- High proficiency in spoken and written English.
