The Role

About the Role:

As an Associate Software Quality Assurance Analyst, you will embark on your journey to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will support the quality assurance team in executing planned test cases, reporting bugs, and assisting in routine QA activities. Your contributions are fundamental to our mission of delivering top-notch software solutions, providing valuable experience that sets the foundation for your career in technology.
Responsibilities:
• Execute pre-defined test cases and document results.
• Report and track basic software bugs under supervision.
• Assist in maintaining a QA environment.
• Perform initial verification of bug fixes.
• Support the preparation of test data.
• Assist in the documentation and reporting of testing processes.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Develop a basic understanding of the software being tested.
• Liaise with developers for bug resolution.
• Follow standard QA practices and methodologies.

Skills:
• Attention to Detail: Ability to notice and document defects.
• Basic Test Case Execution: Understanding of how to execute and document test cases.
• Bug Reporting Tools: Familiarity with tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Communication: Clear written and verbal skills to report bugs and test results.
• Basic Software Understanding: Introductory knowledge of the software under test.
• Time Management: Ability to complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
• Basic Documentation: Skills to document test results and bugs correctly.
• Collaboration: Work effectively within a team setup.

AI-Enabled Skillset:

Foundational understanding of AI concepts or completion of relevant coursework/certifications (AI, ML, data analytics, or related introductory programs).
Basic knowledge of Prompt Engineering, with a strong interest and willingness to learn how to use generative‑AI tools to support test design, analysis, and overall productivity.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development/testing tools such as Microsoft Copilot or GitHub Copilot, with an openness to deepen expertise over time.
• Requires basic knowledge of theories, principles and concepts within a technical discipline; has exposure to current technologies through coursework or internship
• Applies general knowledge of business and industry gained through education or experience
• Performs routine technical assignments and uses existing procedures to apply to technical concepts to solve standard problems
• Receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior team member
• Impacts own work and has limited impact on work team
• Communicates straightforward information
