Associate Project Engineer (Electronics)

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Associate Project Engineer within our Medical & Consumer / IT team, you will gradually take responsibility for product safety and certification projects for medical, laboratory, and consumer/IT equipment. You will work closely with experienced colleagues, customers, and laboratories, receiving structured support, mentoring, and on-the-job training to help you build technical competence over time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage certification projects for Medical, Laboratory and Consumer/IT devices working closely with experienced project engineers.
• Support and learn to define project scope such as test requirements, samples, documentation, timelines and effort by analyzing customer's request.
• Assist customers with understanding UL certification processes and applicable technical requirements.
• Support and gradually perform product safety construction evaluation.
• Support and gradually conduct testing at UL or customer's site (travel may be required).
• Communicate technical results clearly and ensure customers understand compliance status and next steps.
• Contribute ideas for new testing and certification opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical school diploma or Bachelor/master's degree in Electronics, Software or related field.
• Suitable for graduates or candidates with up to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Interest and strong willingness to learn product safety, compliance, testing, and international standards.
• Good communication skills and motivation to work with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of one or more of the following standards is an advantage but not required (training will be provided): UL/IEC/EN 62368-1, 60601-1 or 61010-1.
• Exposure to product testing and laboratory work is beneficial,
• Team-oriented mindset, curiosity, and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
• Fluent in Danish or Swedish, with a good command of English (spoken and written).
• Hybrid work arrangement.
