- The Professional, DocuSign Platform Specialist configures, administers, and supports DocuSign solutions to drive adoption of eSignature and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) capabilities across the organization. With limited supervision, this role partners with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize DocuSign environments, onboard and enable end users, and ensure seamless digital agreement workflows.
Key Accountabilities
- DOCUSIGN CONFIGURATION & ADMINISTRATION: Configures and maintains DocuSign eSignature and CLM environments, including account settings, templates, envelopes, user permissions, and workflow rules. Ensures the platform is set up to reflect business requirements and organizational standards.
- USER ENABLEMENT & ONBOARDING: Serves as the primary point of contact for getting new users and teams started in DocuSign. Develops onboarding materials, conducts training sessions, and provides hands-on guidance to drive confident platform adoption across business units.
- ESIGNATURE WORKFLOW SUPPORT: Designs, builds, and maintains eSignature workflows, including routing rules, signing orders, automated reminders, and notifications. Troubleshoots moderately complex envelope and workflow issues to ensure smooth agreement execution.
- CLM IMPLEMENTATION & SUPPORT: Supports the configuration and ongoing management of DocuSign CLM, including contract templates, clause libraries, agreement workflows, and integration touchpoints. Partners with legal, procurement, and business teams to align CLM processes with operational needs.
- COLLABORATION: Works closely with cross-functional stakeholders including legal, procurement, IT, and business operations teams to gather requirements, translate them into platform configurations, and deliver solutions that meet user and business objectives.
- TESTING & QUALITY ASSURANCE: Performs testing of newly configured templates, workflows, and integrations prior to deployment. Identifies, documents, and resolves issues to maintain a high-quality, reliable DocuSign environment.
- DOCUMENTATION: Creates and maintains clear documentation for platform configurations, standard operating procedures, onboarding guides, and known issue resolutions. Ensures knowledge is accessible and up to date for both technical and non-technical audiences..
- TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Provides timely technical support to end users experiencing issues with eSignature or CLM workflows. Escalates complex issues appropriately while maintaining clear communication with affected stakeholders throughout resolution.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a platform administration, business systems, or enterprise software role.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience configuring and supporting DocuSign eSignature, including template creation, envelope configuration, and user management.
- Familiarity with DocuSign CLM or comparable contract lifecycle management tools.
- Ability to translate business requirements into platform configurations and user-facing workflows.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train and support non-technical end users.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve platform issues with moderate complexity.
Preferred Qualifications- DocuSign Administrator Certification or equivalent formal training.
- Experience with DocuSign CLM configuration, including workflow automation, clause libraries, and contract repository management.
- Exposure to integration concepts (API-based, Salesforce, or similar CRM/ERP connections to DocuSign).
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide platform rollouts or large-scale user onboarding initiatives.
- Familiarity with change management principles and user adoption strategies.
- Genuine enthusiasm for learning new platform features and staying current with DocuSign product updates.
