Leads nursing operations across multiple hospital departments, overseeing staff, patient care services, scheduling, staffing, compliance, quality initiatives, education, recruitment, budgeting, and performance management. Serves as a mentor and clinical resource while supporting patient safety, evidence-based practice, regulatory compliance, and rural healthcare delivery.

Supports and maintains the hospital’s servers, endpoints, networks, telecommunications, Microsoft 365 environment, clinical systems, security tools, backups, and business applications. Administers Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, patching, endpoint management, and cloud services; troubleshoots user and infrastructure issues; supports HIPAA compliance, disaster recovery, vendors, and clinical technology. The role also participates in technology planning, documentation, projects, and an on-call rotation.

Coordinates electronic medical record implementation, maintenance, interfaces, data collection, security settings, patient portal support, and workflow improvements. Partners with clinical, administrative, IT, and vendor teams to support MIPS/Meaningful Use compliance, billing data capture, quality initiatives, software updates, documentation, staff training, troubleshooting, and CMS regulatory requirements.

Provides administrative and project coordination support for a one-year OCHIN/Epic implementation. Coordinates meetings, calendars, agendas, logistics, documentation, trackers, rosters, decision logs, deliverables, communications, and follow-up. Maintains organized project files and a reliable source of truth, monitors deadlines and ownership, escalates risks and overdue items, and handles confidential operational and patient-related information with discretion.

Manage daily operations of outpatient and specialty clinics, supervise clinical and support staff, optimize scheduling and patient flow, monitor performance and compliance, partner with clinical and administrative teams, and lead quality improvement and staff development initiatives.

Lead operational oversight for assigned clinical departments to ensure efficient daily operations, high-quality patient care, regulatory readiness, budget stewardship, staffing and productivity management, service growth, and continuous improvement while partnering with clinical and executive leaders.
