Own end-to-end lending products (origination, underwriting, servicing) and roadmap. Lead integrations with sponsor banks, credit bureaus, and loan management software. Lead enterprise sales and strategic account management to grow adoption of Scratch Checkout and new initiatives. Own full sales cycle, deepen adoption across large Scratch Pay partners, manage executive relationships, run ROI-driven business reviews, commercialize new products (e.g., Rebates), and coordinate cross-functional implementations and go-to-market activities.

Design and build frontend and backend systems for lending and payments: architect services, implement APIs and event integrations, write tested maintainable code, improve CI/CD, participate in agile rituals, handle incidents, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver production-ready features.

Lead finance organization (FP&A, accounting, finance ops) and manage debt capital relationships, covenant compliance, and liquidity planning. Own exit readiness and lead M&A/recapitalization processes, financial reporting, audits, and investor/board communications. Drive budgeting, forecasting, ROI frameworks, controls, and team development in a hands-on player-coach CFO role.

Own the credit strategy and P&L for Scratch Pay, leading underwriting, scoring models, policy rules, collections, and portfolio performance. Build and manage a lean credit risk team, operationalize alternative data and AI tooling, partner with Product on borrower experience, and run rigorous test-and-learn experiments to expand approvable customers while controlling loss rates.

Own Tier 2/3 escalations for payment processing, API integration, and SaaS platform issues. Troubleshoot across payment rails, third-party integrations, and internal systems (PostgreSQL, Firebase, JetAdmin). Build and maintain AI agents and automation to reduce ticket volume. Partner with Product and Engineering to resolve systemic issues, document root causes, and serve as a technical escalation resource for frontline support.

Lead and scale a ~30-person engineering, infrastructure, and security organization; build operational maturity (architecture, GitOps, CloudOps, observability), run security and compliance (SOC2/GDPR/HIPAA), drive agentic AI adoption, own payment internals and integrations, and balance hands-on technical work with leadership, delegation, and commercial decision-making to prepare the company for diligence and a potential sale.

Manage late-stage sales pipeline, close deals with consultative selling, exceed quarterly quotas, run virtual demos, maintain CRM pipeline hygiene, collaborate cross-functionally, and build long-term client relationships in the veterinary payments space.

Promote Scratch Checkout to veterinary practices via outbound and inbound outreach. Generate and qualify leads, book demos for Account Executives, and maintain CRM records in HubSpot. Meet pipeline and meeting-setting metrics, stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings, and collaborate with sales team to improve payment workflows and client satisfaction.
