As a Senior Analyst, you'll enhance risk analytics processes, ensure data quality, develop methodologies, create reports, and support team collaboration.

Lead fundamental equity research for a defined technology coverage universe, building financial models, developing and testing investment theses, conducting primary research and channel checks, making stock recommendations to portfolio managers, and improving research workflows (including AI/automation). Regular travel to conferences and company meetings required.

The Senior Technology Specialist administers GenAI and Digital Workplace platforms, ensuring availability, security, compliance, and operational enhancements through user support and incident management.

Provide executive-level administrative support to Private Equity leadership: manage complex calendars, travel, expenses, meetings and events; prepare and proofread documents and presentations; coordinate budgeting, contracting, and cross‑departmental projects; liaise with external partners and internal Legal, Compliance and Finance teams; oversee daily office operations and reception backup.

Provide legal advice and support for Infrastructure, Private Equity, Real Estate, Natural Resources and Credit Investments across complex international transactions; ensure compliance with laws and policies; manage external counsel; collaborate with global legal and internal stakeholders; support corporate matters for European and Asian platforms.

Conduct deep, bottom-up fundamental research on financial sector companies, own coverage universe, build models and investment theses, translate research into portfolio recommendations, run primary research and channel checks, attend meetings/conferences, and automate research workflows using AI tools while collaborating with portfolio managers.

Lead teams covering geopolitics, macroeconomics and asset-class mandates to align bottom-up views with CIO top-down strategy. Develop macro/geopolitical frameworks, translate insights into portfolio recommendations, support mandate/benchmark design, validate alignment of strategies, and brief senior management and the Board.

Build scalable, reliable data pipelines and platforms using Snowflake and Databricks. Implement database schemas, views, stored procedures, and data engineering best practices. Participate in request analysis, unit/integration testing, code reviews, debugging, documentation, and CI/CD. Stay current with GenAI and digital workplace technologies to guide secure adoption and improve products and efficiency across the organization.

Conduct and coordinate operational due diligence reviews and ongoing monitoring of external managers across asset classes. Assess controls, processes, third-party providers and technology; prepare due diligence reports; recommend remediation; develop metrics, enhance ODD frameworks and collaborate with stakeholders to manage operational risk.

Provide geopolitical and thematic analysis to support PSP's Ten-Year Thematic Outlook and Country Evaluation Framework; build probability-weighted scenarios, translate themes into quantitative macro parameters, develop theme-specific research (trade fragmentation, AI diffusion, climate costs), integrate data, modelling tools and AI, and collaborate with investment teams and CIO.

Support domestic government relations by monitoring federal and provincial policy and parliamentary developments, drafting briefings and policy notes, coordinating responses to government requests, maintaining stakeholder intelligence and trackers, and supporting engagement planning and statutory reporting while collaborating with internal teams and the Director to advance PSP's government affairs strategy.

Support PSP's Sustainability and Climate Innovation group by researching sustainability and climate risks/opportunities, integrating climate risk frameworks, developing quantitative approaches and scalable data-driven workflows (including AI-enabled tools), supporting monitoring of external managers and portfolio companies, contributing to policy, reporting, and stakeholder engagements to advance sustainable investment practices.

Summer internship supporting Private Markets investment teams (Infrastructure, Natural Resources, Private Equity, Real Estate, Credit). Duties include financial modeling, due diligence, industry and company research, preparing investment memoranda, presenting recommendations, and participating in portfolio monitoring and asset management tasks.

Provide transactional and strategic legal support on complex global investments (M&A, reorganizations, asset sales, joint ventures, fund and infrastructure investments). Supervise external counsel, manage legal risk and compliance, advise on governance, regulatory and litigation matters, and collaborate with internal stakeholders (Tax, Risk, Responsible Investments).

Support business analysis, solution delivery, testing, implementation, and day-to-day operational support for public markets investment platforms. Gather and document business requirements, produce functional specifications and artefacts, assist testing and deployments, resolve incidents, and identify process and solution improvements while working closely with investment teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

The Senior Advisor in Portfolio Risk Management leads the analysis of portfolio risks and performance for assigned asset classes, ensuring effective communication with senior stakeholders and developing risk frameworks and policies.

Support deal teams on execution and due diligence for direct investments and fund commitments. Conduct sector research, financial valuation and modelling, impact and ESG analysis, prepare investment memoranda, and assist portfolio management and Investment Committee presentations.
