ABOUT THE TEAM

We are seeking a detail-oriented Analyst or Senior Analyst to join the Natural Resources Portfolio Management & Operations team on a 12-month contract. The role will support the team's portfolio monitoring, reporting, data management, and operational initiatives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring investment, financial, operational, and ESG data across the Natural Resources portfolio is accurately collected, integrated, validated, and maintained. Working closely with investment professionals, finance teams, and operating partners, the individual will help enhance data quality, reporting consistency, and portfolio transparency while supporting portfolio analytics and decision-making.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As a Analyst/Senior Analyst, Portfolio Management and Operations, you’ll: 

Reporting and Data Management

  • Compile data and generate reports leveraging various IT applications (iLevel, efront, GPS, GPF, Data Warehouse). Reconcile data between systems

  • Maintain and enhance investment, portfolio, and performance data and dashboards within iLEVEL

  • Perform periodic data collection and validation reviews to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency

  • Maintain data governance standards and reporting controls

  • Support corporate initiatives with regards to data acquisition (such as GHG) and integration in other PSP systems

  • Consolidate and Synthesize both Financial and Non-Financial Operating data from external  sources and Deal Team

  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests from the Deal Team in a timely and concise manner

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science or equivalent

  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience

  • Highly proficient in Office Suite, especially Excel and Power Query

  • Knowledge of iLevel and efront, an asset

  • Previous experience in accounting, finance and private or alternative investments

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to navigate in a fast-pace environment with a high level of autonomy

  • Highly organized and multitasking skills

  • Good communications skills in English and French (or willingness to learn) *Regular interactions in English with investment partners based outside of Quebec Example: peers, bankers, brokerage firms, etc. and PSP employees in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa
