Lead North America R&D for specialty chemicals, managing labs and a global team to drive new product and application development, prioritize projects, protect IP, ensure safety/compliance, enable scale-up and commercialization, partner across functions, develop talent, and represent the company at industry forums.

Lead mechanical engineering for a chemical plant: provide technical/troubleshooting maintenance support, improve OEE and safety, lead continuous improvement and design for pumps/pressure vessels, manage capital projects (scopes, bids, budgets, contractor liaison), and provide monthly on-call support.

Lead global process safety strategy and programs (RBPS); support operations, projects and incident investigations; develop standards, KPIs, and reporting; manage audits, assessments, and corrective actions; facilitate global SME network and functional safety steering.

Lead global design, standardization, and continuous improvement of end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing processes. Own SAP-enabled process excellence, drive automation and digital transformation (AI/ML, RPA, advanced analytics), set global KPIs/governance, optimize production and logistics, and build regional change management and excellence capabilities.

Work overnight 12-hour shifts handling loading/unloading, order preparation, material inspection, forklift operation, inventory pick/put-away, paperwork (WOIs, BOL), shift meetings, housekeeping, safety and environmental compliance, and use of Outlook/SharePoint/SAP or other distribution systems.

Lead site quality and compliance to GMP and ISO standards; manage QA lab operations, testing, audits, supplier quality, customer complaints, CAPAs, MOC, and continuous improvement to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

Support production optimization and EHS compliance through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, process safety execution, process control tuning (Yokogawa DCS), SAP BOM/materials analysis, OEE and yield improvement, SOP development, and leading continuous improvement/LEAN initiatives.

Implement and support plant automation systems (DeltaV, Provox, TDC3000, Rockwell PLCs, Aspen/PI), develop process control strategies for batch and continuous operations, troubleshoot and maintain control networks, support start-ups, train operations staff, participate in MOC/PHA, drive IT/OT and cybersecurity solutions, track KPIs, and lead continuous improvement activities.

Provide clerical and administrative support to the maintenance department: maintain records, prepare reports, manage files in SharePoint, support procurement (SAP), EHS and site logistics, and assist continuous improvement and special projects.
