Nourish seeks a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain backend services, collaborate with teams, and enhance engineering processes. Responsibilities include product development, codebase management, and driving improvements for scalability.

Build and own the companys modern data platform: ingestion, orchestration, Snowflake architecture, dbt transformations and CI/CD, observability, governance, and a semantic layer to enable trusted analytics and production AI/ML workloads. Partner cross-functionally and automate recurring operational pain points into reusable platform capabilities.

Lead the clinical expansion from dietitian-led care to a full virtual metabolic health clinic. Design end-to-end provider care models, build clinical protocols/SOPs/oversight, integrate multi-provider workflows, and measure/improve clinical outcomes. Manage senior team members, partner with Medical Leadership, Product, Corporate Strategy, and report to Senior Director of Clinical Operations. NYC-based, hands-on 0->1 builder who drives scalable clinical operations and cross-functional integration.
