Supports global innovation initiatives addressing violence and protection gaps affecting women and children. Responsibilities include developing innovation roadmaps, synthesizing research and field insights, leading rapid research and prototyping cycles, monitoring pilot outcomes, creating strategic briefs, facilitating workshops, and identifying program improvements through data analysis and stakeholder feedback.

Leads gender-based violence and violence against children investigation programs across Latin America and Africa. Advises on complex investigations, evidence collection, interviews, case building, budgets, and ethical protocols; mentors investigators; develops training for law enforcement and justice officials; builds strategic partnerships; supports systemic reform; represents IJM externally; and prepares investigative reports and presentations.

Manages global partnership data systems, policies, reporting, measurement frameworks, and capacity-development administration. The role ensures accurate, governed, audit-ready data; supports donor and grant reporting; analyzes partner performance; maintains knowledge repositories and the Protection Collaborative website; and coordinates cross-functional activities involving program teams, grants, finance, leadership, and external reviews.

Provides strategic and operational leadership for global accounting and external financial reporting. Oversees consolidated financial statements, technical accounting, annual audits, IRS Form 990 filings, NICRA submissions, statutory reporting, internal controls, and global consolidation processes. Leads accounting staff, ensures compliance with US GAAP and FASB standards, partners with finance and organizational stakeholders, and drives reporting automation and continuous improvement.

Designs and governs the global Salesforce platform and related enterprise applications. Leads solution architecture, integrations, APIs, security, data architecture, modernization, and scalability initiatives. Collaborates with product owners, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, analytics, vendors, and development teams. Provides technical leadership, mentorship, troubleshooting, quality assurance, documentation, and support across the software development lifecycle. The role also communicates technical proposals to diverse stakeholders and manages multiple initiatives and application support needs.

Lead rewards programs, compensation and mobility initiatives, HR policy governance, employment regulatory compliance, and related reporting. Serve as an employment-law subject matter expert, manage vendors, develop training, assess risks, and improve HR processes. Provide consultation to regional and functional HR leaders while managing a two-person team and supporting cross-functional initiatives.

The Design Intern supports IJM’s Creative and Campaigns team by creating marketing materials and internal resources. Projects may include global campaign assets, social media graphics, layout and graphic design, digital UX/UI, video editing, and illustration. Work is adapted to the intern’s skills and interests while providing hands-on experience. The role requires a 30–40 hour weekly commitment and collaboration with the Creative team.

Serves as the primary legal advisor for global data privacy, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, information governance, and technology matters. Leads complex legal workstreams, develops governance frameworks, policies, playbooks, contractual standards, and compliance improvements, and advises senior leaders across jurisdictions. Partners with technology, security, regional, and global teams; monitors regulatory developments; manages external counsel; delivers risk-based advice, training, and practical guidance supporting responsible innovation and enterprise technology initiatives.

Supports the CEO’s Office with Board of Directors meetings, executive administration, internal communications, and departmental administrative priorities. The intern works 20–40 hours weekly in person or hybrid in Washington, DC, during the Spring 2027 internship program and receives a monthly volunteer stipend rather than wages.

Supports the Global IT Operations team with troubleshooting IT issues, coordinating service activities, improving user and system performance, and facilitating global communications. The intern will gain hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, conference room technologies, cloud systems, identity management, endpoint management, and IT service management. The role also includes departmental and administrative support.

Supports communications initiatives across Africa and Europe through project coordination, scheduling, meeting follow-up, speaker training support, intranet management, process improvement, writing, copyediting, graphic design, and administrative tasks. The internship requires 20–40 hours weekly from January 11 through April 9, 2027, and may be remote, hybrid, or in-person in the Washington, DC area.

Supports the Global People Support and HR Operations teams through HR research, project and process support, administrative assistance, and potentially HR metrics and analytics. The intern will gain hands-on experience in global compensation and benefits, employment policies, mobility, HR information systems, and mission-driven HR projects. The position requires 30–40 hours weekly during the spring 2027 internship period and may be onsite, hybrid, or remote.

Supports the Employee Experience and Events team with planning and executing a major supporter event in Washington, DC. Responsibilities include reviewing travel best practices, assisting with office operations coordination, conducting vendor research, and completing other assigned projects. The intern works 20, 30, or 40 hours weekly from January 11 through May 7, 2027, in person, hybrid, or remotely for non-local candidates.

Supports the Global Business Operations Team with project and portfolio management, change management, and business process improvement. Responsibilities include assisting with project deliverables, scheduling, researching industry best practices, and designing or editing communications materials. The intern works collaboratively across Finance, HR, Legal, and Technology functions and commits to 30–40 hours weekly during the spring internship program.

Supports IJM’s Global Programs, South Asia, or Asia Pacific teams by coordinating events and training, managing intranet resources, compiling reports and data, assisting with project management, and providing administrative support. The intern works with executive leaders and colleagues to promote efficient program operations. The role is available in person, hybrid, or remotely for non-local candidates, requiring 20–40 hours weekly during the spring 2027 internship period.

Supports IJM’s Global Marketing team through inventory management, project management, digital marketing research, process improvement, administrative support, and special projects involving signature events and brand partnerships. The role requires 20–40 hours weekly during standard business hours and may be remote or hybrid in the Washington, DC area.

Supports IJM’s Global Innovation & Design Center through human-centered design initiatives, partner-facing data management system development, intervention lifecycle work, innovation events, brainstorming, qualitative data synthesis and analysis, and administrative support. The internship is full-time, based in Washington, DC, and may be fully onsite or hybrid.

Lead messaging and content strategy for major and principal donor events, campaigns, and executive engagement. Create multi-channel content (digital, print, stage), develop scalable messaging frameworks, coach stakeholders, and support event scripting and donor communications to drive engagement and brand consistency across IJM globally.

Operate and improve IJM's Microsoft Azure environment: ensure availability, performance, security, monitoring, incident response, cost optimization, IaC deployments (Bicep/ARM/Terraform), automation with PowerShell/Azure CLI, governance (Azure Policy/RBAC), and collaborate across teams to maintain standardized, secure, and observable cloud platforms.

The Vice President of US Government Partnerships will lead IJM's strategy for engaging the US government to support efforts protecting vulnerable populations, overseeing program design, team management, and advocacy initiatives.
