Define and lead AI integration across Hamilton’s product portfolio. Identify customer needs, translate AI and machine-learning capabilities into product requirements and roadmaps, and drive initiatives from concept through implementation. Collaborate with international product-management and R&D teams, while advising and enabling product teams to adopt AI. The role requires scientific or engineering education, relevant life-sciences or robotics experience, practical AI application experience, strong communication skills, and fluent German and English.

Provides technical support for robotics customers and key accounts, coordinating inquiries, resolving technical challenges, investigating complaints, and managing information flow. Plans resources, trains customers and internal Field Service Engineers, and leads Technical Support projects within the field organization. Requires an engineering degree or equivalent BSc, three years of similar experience, and a driver license.

Manages the technical lifecycle of an automation product portfolio, coordinating design changes, testing, validation, production optimization, troubleshooting, customer complaints, CAPA reporting, and continuous improvement. Works cross-functionally with product management, R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, service, quality, suppliers, and customers. Requires engineering expertise, programming knowledge, root-cause analysis, automation systems knowledge, and technical documentation skills.

Lead tracking, interpretation and implementation of product, material and business sustainability/compliance regulations (RoHS, REACH, CSRD, CBAM, etc.). Develop compliance framework, run risk assessments and audits, coordinate cross-functional projects, support suppliers and customers with declarations and evidence, maintain compliance databases and reports, and deliver training and reporting to ensure regulatory obligations are met.

Lead and coordinate machining production and engineering activities, optimize processes, manage people and resources to meet performance indicators, implement company strategy and best practices, and propose and monitor budgets while developing and motivating staff.

Develop and maintain R&D software for laboratory automation: define requirements, extend system architecture, implement and optimize features, create automated tests, validate code with simulators and real instruments, perform code reviews and documentation, and provide 3rd-level software support.
