Learns and performs appropriate radiographic techniques and positioning, prepares equipment and rooms, screens patients for pregnancy, contrast use, and contraindications, responds to communications, maintains emergency equipment knowledge, and escalates patient care or safety concerns. Maintains the work area and performs other assigned duties.

Performs routine and emergency diagnostic radiographic examinations while developing proficiency in imaging techniques, positioning, patient screening, contrast procedures, equipment operation, safety practices, and quality-control workflows. Provides patient care, maintains imaging areas, responds to emergencies, and may support hospital and regional clinic locations. Arkansas RTL licensure is required, with ARRT R certification required within 12 months of hire or eligibility.

Performs routine and complex radiographic examinations in hospital and clinic settings, ensuring accurate positioning, patient screening, contrast safety, emergency readiness, equipment setup, quality control, and data integrity. Provides patient care, maintains work areas, responds to communications, and escalates safety or satisfaction concerns. The role may require infrequent travel to regional clinics and requires Arkansas licensure, ARRT certification, and two years of experience.

Participates in quality and safety initiatives, recruitment activities, and patient-experience improvement efforts.

Collects and processes blood and urine specimens, performs inpatient and outpatient phlebotomy, transports and ships laboratory samples, maintains supplies, performs aliquoting and storage procedures, and supports clerical, call center, training, and specimen collection activities.

Provides competent, safe, and effective emergency nursing care for pediatric patients and families on a full-time overnight shift.
