Together, we’ve built the 1st digital marketplace to help local farmers and craft food vendors sell their goods directly to consumers and cut out the middleman. We’re a startup funded by top tier marketplace operators that is founded & run by chefs, farmers, and veterans who bring their craft and passion everyday.
Crop One grows fresh, nutritious and delicious produce in indoor farms using hydroponic technology that ensures pesticide-free, optimal growing conditions and does not rely on chemicals or GMOs. Leveraging our plant science and technology expertise, we achieve high crop yields with significantly less water and land than what is required by traditional agriculture. Consumers can rest assured knowing that superior quality fresh produce travels from “farm to fork” in less than 24 hours. Our branded greens, FreshBox Farms, have a longer shelf life and superior taste when compared to conventionally grown produce. In 2018 we announced a joint venture with Emirates Flight Catering to build and operate the world’s largest vertical farm, producing 3 tons of leafy greens for a historically arid climate.
