Our purpose ensures that patients remain at the center of all we do. We live our purpose by sourcing the best science in the world; partnering with others in the healthcare system to improve access to our medicines; using digital technologies to enhance our drug discovery and development, as well as patient outcomes; and leading the conversation to advocate for pro-innovation/pro-patient policies.

Cavnue is building smart roads for smart vehicles, and future-proofing the nation’s roadways. The interstate highway system defined mobility in the second half of the 20th century. Now, transportation is changing again. Mobility in the 21st century will be defined by intelligent, connected, and autonomous vehicles and while billions have been invested into developing in-vehicle technologies, only a small fraction has been spent on developing infrastructure to support and enhance advanced roads. We are the first company of its kind focused on designing dedicated roadways for CAVs, combining technology and road infrastructure to unlock the full potential of these vehicles. Ultimately, it is our company’s vision that drives our work: to build supportive infrastructure that will ensure safer roads, fewer casualties, reduced traffic congestion, and increased traffic efficiency. We are building the future of roads through innovation and collaboration with major vehicle manufacturers, road operators, and government. We believe collaboration on smart roadways and connected infrastructure is crucial to the success of a vehicle manufacturer-neutral technology platform that helps scale vehicle autonomy at all levels on public roads safely. In August 2020, we were selected by the State of Michigan to serve as the Master Developer for the nation’s first CAV Corridor. The initial deployment, which spans over 25 miles, will connect two major metros in Southeast Michigan and will eventually lead to a state-wide network. Since then, we have signed multiple letters of intent with leading road operators to pursue enabling infrastructure for passenger and freight CAVs. In April 2022, we closed our Series A capital investment round at $130 million to continue scaling the nation's first network of CAV corridors. Lead investors in the round were Ford Motor Company and Sidewalk Infrastructure Partners with additional investment from Openvia and Landstar—bringing together a leading global automaker, road operator, and freight logistics provider to invest in the future of roadways.
