McDonald’s started as a single restaurant and is now a multinational fast food chain with over 40,000 individual franchise locations. The company employs hundreds of thousands of team members worldwide. McDonald’s benefits and perks include up to $3,000 a year in tuition assistance for restaurant employees. There’s also the Archways to Opportunity educational assistance program, which has provided more than $185 million in tuition assistance for high school and college programs.

Course Hero is an edtech company that runs an online learning platform for students who can use it to access course-specific study resources. The company also connects students with contracted tutors who work with them one-on-one. Course Hero offers $5,250 annually in tuition assistance to benefits-eligible employees. 

 

Elevance Health is a health insurance provider, offering medical, dental, pharmaceutical, behavioral health, long-term care and disability coverage through other companies in the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. It offers $5,000 per year in tuition assistance for continuing education for full-time employees and $2,500 for eligible part-time associates.

 

Baxter is a healthcare company that focuses on making products to support patients with kidney disease and other chronic illnesses. It also produces surgical care and hospital supplies. The company has an Educational Assistance Program that gives employees an annual $5,250 to help them pay for undergraduate courses. Baxter also has a program to aid in covering costs for pre-approved graduate courses.
