Investigate, evaluate, and settle complex Defense Base Act and workers' compensation claims independently. Determine coverage and liability, set reserves, authorize payments, coordinate appraisals, develop subrogation, support litigation with counsel, prepare reports for clients/carriers, and mentor/train new hires.
