Participates in a structured tax internship combining academic learning with practical experience. Responsibilities include preparing tax returns and extensions, organizing tax information, assisting with tax notices and examinations, using tax preparation software, and completing administrative tasks. The intern must work at least 25 hours weekly, weekends as needed, and demonstrate tax coursework, VITA participation, organizational skills, communication abilities, attention to detail, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
