Support rotating accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, AR/AP, deductions management, vendor and customer issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration. Perform analysis and navigate company systems to support accounting close and collections.

Perform AP/AR research and support, daily cash and bank reconciliations, month/quarter-end close activities (journal entries, GL posting, reconciliations), intercompany reconciliations, financial reporting and analysis, audit support, expense report auditing, tax and insurance support, and Kaizen process improvements.

Manage rent-related accounting for assigned stores: process AR/AP rent batches, reconcile rent statements, update records, communicate with landlords and franchisees, support collections and legal documentation, and maintain the Real Estate Accounting calendar.

Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for multiple employee groups, ensure regulatory compliance, validate time and earnings, administer deductions and garnishments, prepare tax filings, perform audits, resolve payroll discrepancies, maintain records, and collaborate with HR and Finance on reporting and special projects.

Administers federal and state student financial aid programs, managing data entry and file maintenance in Campus Vue, FAME, Direct Loan/COD, and NSLDS. Performs need analysis, packaging, R2T4 calculations, disbursements, refunds, verification, and initial compliance reviews. Coordinates with campus personnel, reports suspected non-compliance, and ensures accurate reconciliations and regulatory adherence.

Manage sales/use tax and personal property tax compliance, prepare and file various tax returns (sales, personal property, excise, 1099s), process real estate tax payments, maintain state registrations, verify exemption certificates, perform internal sales tax audits, provide tax support and research, and enter transactions in Microsoft D365.

Support the Business Office by assisting the manager with AR/AP, billing and collections, month-end closings, deposits, and accounting controls. May supervise in manager's absence and ensure timely, accurate posting and processing of transactions.
