Provide hands-on administration, support, and maintenance of plant and office IT systems in an automotive manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include network and server administration, virtualization, backups/DR, EDI and shop-floor integrations, troubleshooting, user support, documentation, project management, and ensuring security and uptime to minimize production downtime.

Lead regional IT relationship and delivery for the Mechatronics, Mirrors & Lighting group. Align regional demand with global IT strategy, standardize processes, oversee programs and projects, manage regional IT managers, advise business stakeholders on technology planning, ensure software compliance, and champion resolution of urgent issues. Frequent regional and international engagement (≈25% travel).

Administer and support IT systems in an automotive manufacturing environment, including MES and ERP administration, network and device monitoring, firewalls and cybersecurity systems. Manage Microsoft Active Directory, Cisco infrastructure, and VMware virtualization. Ensure reliable system operations and collaborate across teams to support production environments.

Implement, configure, and support SAP Concur (Expense, Request, Travel) globally. Provide L2/L3 incident management, onboarding and rollout activities, manage data imports/exports and integrations, support Cognos reporting and Concur-related RPA, collaborate with SAP/HR/Finance teams, and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Support fleet users as central contact, assist with fleet monitoring and coordination including vehicle procurement, leasing contracts, mileage control, and vehicle returns. Communicate with drivers, handlers, workshops, and leasing partners.

Provide executive administrative support to the Vice President, Magna IT and Office of the CDIO: manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings and international travel, prepare documents and presentations, monitor budgets, organize events, collect team reports, and support internal projects in a global environment.

Support team lead by analyzing business requirements and gaps, designing SAP SD/JIT/JIS solutions, implementing SAP configuration and basic ABAP, providing 1st–3rd level end-user support, testing and monitoring SD and JIT/JIS processes, coordinating roll-outs and enhancements, debugging/supporting ABAP developments, and maintaining documentation and process mappings.

Lead and manage IT support, helpdesk and infrastructure teams to ensure continuous operation of production systems. Define support strategy, KPIs, vendor management, asset and license control, network/telecom redundancy, servers, virtualization, storage, and customer-facing service delivery while planning projects and supervising personnel.

Three-year apprenticeship to train as an industrial clerk with rotations through purchasing, controlling, finance, quality/process management, product management, marketing & sales, and logistics. Provides practical business administration experience and development into a commercial all-rounder.
