Covers government events, hearings, court decisions, conferences, and industry developments; conducts interviews, research, and fact-checking; cultivates expert sources; identifies scoops and trends; and meets daily editorial deadlines. Coordinates with internal departments, maintains confidential records and procedures, responds to inquiries, assists with financial tasks, and supports youth aftercare transfers when applicable. The role requires office administration experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, a valid New York driver’s license, and travel between Hillside locations, warehouses, or stores.

Supports HR operations including onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, recruiting coordination, leave and workers’ compensation documentation, compliance tracking, HR reporting, employee communications, and general employee assistance. Maintains confidential records in Paylocity, coordinates pre-employment requirements, supports audits and employee programs, and escalates sensitive matters to the HR Manager.

Leads manufacturing continuous improvement and productivity projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, efficiency, and uptime. Defines standard operating procedures, production rates, work instructions, BOMs, and routings. Performs time, yield, downtime, and rate studies; maintains routing accuracy in JD Edwards and AS400; and develops capital expenditure requests. Requires an engineering degree and manufacturing experience, with lean manufacturing experience preferred.

Reviews field billing records, verifies time entries and coding, creates invoices and credit memos, maintains customer and accounting records, manages overdue collections, audits contracts and billing accuracy, prepares revenue accruals, and explains monthly variances while meeting strict deadlines.
