The Communications Director leads internal and external communications for Philadelphia DHS, including public relations, crisis and media relations, press materials, social media, advertising, branding, events, website content, and stakeholder engagement. The role develops agency messaging, manages communication vendors and contracts, publishes performance reports, monitors campaign outcomes, coordinates with city agencies and the Mayor’s Press Office, and supervises staff. Extended hours and occasional nontraditional schedules may be required.

Develops and edits marketing, media, website, internal, executive, and thought-leadership content. Translates complex technical information into clear messaging, identifies newsworthy opportunities, pitches stories to media, responds to inquiries, and builds journalist relationships. Prepares executives and subject-matter experts for interviews, coordinates media engagements, manages communications logistics, and tracks media activity. Provides part-time office and resident support for a property management community. Responsibilities include answering phones, assisting customers, filing, showing units, distributing tenant notices, entering data, collecting rent, processing deposits, supporting recertification paperwork, monitoring community standards, and inspecting facilities for repair needs. Requires reliable weekday availability, customer service and administrative skills, communication ability, confidentiality, a valid driver’s license, personal transportation, insurance, and travel between communities.

Support the C-suite by managing complex calendars, coordinating domestic and international travel, organizing meetings and agendas, maintaining Google Workspace files and reports, handling stakeholder communications, processing expenses, and supporting off-sites and investor meetings. The role also helps develop operational playbooks for a rapidly scaling startup while handling sensitive information confidentially.

Facilitates Agile and SAFe ceremonies, removes team impediments, manages backlog flow, tracks risks and dependencies, and promotes continuous improvement. Partners with Product Owners, engineers, stakeholders, and government personnel to coordinate delivery across large-scale software, integration, and data initiatives. Supports documentation, reporting, senior leadership briefings, program reviews, and process standardization in a federal environment.

Develop cloud-native, full-stack software and web applications supporting mission customers. Translate user needs and requirements into maintainable, user-friendly systems; apply continuous integration; collaborate with teammates and users through design documents and whiteboard sessions. Multiple experience levels are available, with work spanning diverse programming languages, cloud-native platforms, databases, and AI/ML technologies.

Provide administrative support for grant applications from intake through submission. Maintain grant calendars and deadlines, extract portal requirements, format templates, prepare and attach supporting documents, enter approved narratives, and conduct detailed accuracy, completeness, proofreading, and formatting checks. Escalate missing information or technical issues, submit approved applications, capture confirmation receipts, and update statuses in AgentPro.

The Partnerships Manager will prospect, negotiate, and close strategic partnership agreements; manage partner relationships and lifecycle activities; develop co-sell and referral motions; collaborate on joint marketing, product, and sales initiatives; deliver partner enablement and training; track pipeline and partnership performance; and coordinate cross-functionally to drive revenue and customer value.

Designs and maintains scalable automation frameworks and automated tests for web, mobile, API, integration, end-to-end, and performance testing. Integrates testing and quality gates into Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, analyzes performance and quality risks, validates service contracts and data flows, and improves test reliability and reporting. The role supports retail technology applications, mentors QA engineers, and advances quality engineering practices across product and engineering teams.

Supports project managers with commercial and financial oversight, including cost, revenue, cash flow, margin, forecasting, variance analysis, invoicing, audits, risk management, and change orders. Prepares project financial reports, budgets, milestones, costing reports, and tracking tools while maintaining project and business partner data. Coordinates deadlines and capacities across departments and travels to project sites as needed.
