Job Description:

We’re looking for a high-caliber Wireless Specialist to help drive strategic customer engagements focused on HPE Networking and Juniper Mist. This is a customer-facing specialist role for someone who combines  enterprise wireless expertise with the ability to shape deals, influence strategy, and help customers rethink what great networking operations should look like.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the wireless specialist across a defined set of strategic accounts, partnering closely with Account Managers, SEs, partners, and leadership

  • Help identify, create, and advance pipeline in enterprise wireless and campus networking opportunities

  • Lead customer conversations around wireless modernization, operational simplicity, AI for networking, user experience, and long-term architectural direction

  • Build credibility with architects, engineers, operations teams, and executive stakeholders

  • Use strong discovery and consultative selling skills to uncover customer pain, frame urgency, and align solutions to business priorities

  • Shape technical and competitive strategy for key opportunities, especially where incumbents are deeply entrenched

  • Lead or heavily influence evaluations, workshops, proof of concepts, and customer-facing technical sales motions

  • Clearly position the value of Juniper Mist and the broader HPE Networking portfolio in a way that resonates with both technical and executive audiences

  • Work cross-functionally with AMs, SEs, channel partners, and internal stakeholders to improve execution and increase win rates

  • Contribute to opportunity strategy, pipeline discipline, and forecast accuracy for specialist-led pursuits

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience

  • Strong background in enterprise wireless and campus networking

  • Experience in a customer-facing role such as specialist, architect, systems engineer, technical seller, or similar

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both technical and executive settings

  • Strong consultative selling and discovery skills

  • Demonstrated ability to influence complex opportunities and help drive competitive wins

  • Experience supporting enterprise accounts with multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles

  • Strong presentation skills and executive presence

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize well, and bring clear point of view to customer strategy

  • Familiarity with the competitive landscape, including vendors such as Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Ruckus, and Fortinet

What Makes Someone Great in This Role:

The right person for this role is technically credible, commercially sharp, and knows how to connect the dots between customer pain, architecture, and business value.

They know how to:

  • Earn trust with engineers without sounding academic

  • Talk to executives without sounding overly technical

  • Help an account team win, not just participate

  • Turn a POC into momentum

  • Challenge incumbent thinking without becoming a feature-comparison robot

They bring confidence, curiosity, good judgment, and a bias toward action. They know when to go deep, when to simplify, and how to close.

Why Join:

You’ll be part of a team focused on helping customers modernize one of the most critical parts of their environment: the network experience their users depend on every day. You’ll work alongside strong sales and technical leaders, engage in meaningful enterprise opportunities, and have the chance to influence real outcomes in the market.
