As a part of HPE Operations Managed Services organization the Program Manager will work on transition projects.  Have a strong customer focus and sensitivity in dealing with diverse cultures and ability to adapt quickly. The Program Manager will also lead the Project Managers usually for a particular region/Geo.

    What you’ll do
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate successful project definition, planning, budgeting, scheduling, resourcing in leading high performance project teams
    • Manage projects within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints 
    • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and project demands
    • Form strong project team relationships by leading, coaching, and motivating team members, and identifying and resolving blockers or conflicts
    • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
    • Manage project scope by ensuring any changes are documented and approved through a change control process
    • Proactively identify project issues and risks and create successful action plans for resolving issues and mitigating risks 
    • Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to client, project teams, and other project stakeholders
    • Continually seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction and strengthen relationships
    • Makes decisions, escalates where/when needed
    • Collaborate with other teams and technical experts on project requirements.
    • Maintain quality on documentation and Project Plans.
    • Performs within the Productivity Measure of the team (scorecard)

    What you need to bring:

    Eligibility & Qualification:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or Equivalent).
    • Experience:  Minimum 10 years of experience as Project Manager in managing, complex and transformative IT programs and projects such as software development, data center migrations, or cloud computing strategies
    • Relevant certification on the latest track like PMP & ITIL
    • Flexible to work in customer required time zones
    • Ability to travel and work at client locations

    Essential Skills:

    • Prior experience in managed Services with enterprise clients a plus
    • Knowledge in technology fundamentals and trends is essential.

    • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills including creating usable documentation and tools

    Program Management and Strategic Initiatives

    • Ensure all onboarding deals part of Program Manager scope are accurately tracked in Smartsheet
    • Ensure project and program dashboards are up to date and aligned with expectations for management / customer and executive reviews
    • Organize and monitor key program / project KPIs, trigger improvements based on status
    • Ensure risks are flagged and interdependencies are known within the portfolio of projects in scope
    • Coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives, ensuring successful integration of improvements within MS transition practice

    Stakeholder Management and Communication

    • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned portfolio of onboarding deals for MS leadership and internal stakeholders
    • Establish regular communication channels to provide status updates, manage expectations, and address concerns with transition managers assigned to their project’s portfolio
    • Guide, coach and support assigned TM community, act as first point of contact and go-to person for daily topics and concerns
    • Act as first point of contact for MS management and executives on deal onboarding portfolio
    • Organize and lead stakeholder meetings, keeping all parties informed and aligned on transition progress and outcomes.

    Resource Allocation and Team Leadership

    • Advise and consult TM management on resource assignments, supporting efficient and effective resource utilization for assigned portfolio of deals
    • Regular review of pipeline with focus on proper planning (1-2 quarters ahead)
    • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to transition managers and team members involved in the transition.
    • Provide day-to-day operational support and leadership to assigned TMs as part of Program Manager portfolio of deals (team lead)

    Continuous Improvement and Process Optimization

    • Identify opportunities for improvement in transition processes and workflows, driving operational efficiencies.
    • Implement feedback loops from completed transitions to refine methodologies, tools, and approaches for future projects.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging innovation in managed services delivery.
