Job DescriptionTo play a critical role in the software development lifecycle by ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and troubleshoot defects, write test cases, and execute test plans.
- Analyze requirements and design documents to understand product functionality.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans covering all aspects of the software, including functionality, performance, usability, and compatibility.
- Participate in PI planning and code reviews to identify potential issues early in the development process.
- Stay up to date on the latest QA methodologies and tools.
- Creating comprehensive test plans that outline the scope, objectives, and approach for testing software and systems.
- Writing detailed test plans and cases to cover various scenarios and ensure thorough testing of functionality, performance, and usability.
- Conducting both manual and automated tests to identify defects, bugs, and inconsistencies in software and systems.
- Documenting and reporting defects with clear and concise descriptions, including steps to reproduce and supporting evidence.
- Performing regression testing to ensure that new code changes or updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certification can be an added advantage.
