What you'll do:
o Work with value chain partners to understand product requirements and influence features, functionality and design to build debuggable, programmable and maintainable software and arrive at effective and efficient test strategies.
o Understand new products and technologies, develop and execute test plans and develop test code and processes
o Work with internal and external teams to assist with the resolution of issues and to track test progress against schedules and milestones
o Test and validate complex cluster computing system, from the hardware, firmware, and cabinet level to the Linux OS, network, system and system management software stack.
o An ambassador for quality with a passion for system side testing, Cluster Mgmt. and related test automation
o Articulate with superior communication skills and demonstrable success with the full software development lifecycles and experience with different development processes
o Experience developing and testing entire systems, with capability to understand details and mixed technologies.
o A 'hands on' engineer and a creative thinker who can solve problems
o You have a keen eye for detail and can identify functional corner/edge cases, timing issues, security loopholes, debug complex issues

What you need to bring:
o A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field with 3-4+ years of experience
o At least 3+ years of working experience in the HPC Domain
o Hands-on Experience in the following:
Cluster System administration with knowledge on Bright systems, HPE HPCM or similar software
Linux/Unix system software management including use of workload managers
Shell scripting in bash
HPC system application experience
Working knowledge of Test Design, Execution, Management and Defect Tracking
Strong firmware, software, and hardware background
Knowledge of Windows, Linux and other OS
Knowledge of industry standards including PCI/PCI-express, SAS, USB, IPMI, etc.
High-speed networking skills with Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking knowledge including configuration of management networks, cabling etc.
o Working or understanding the automation framework with knowledge of scripting language(s) like Python and Selenium will be an added advantage
o Exposure to white-box testing and the ability to read through product code, debugging issues, improving coverage and identifying missing scenarios is an advantage.
