What you will do :
Designs and Develops software across multiple platforms and products in the Global Business Unit and company at large.
Demonstrate knowledge of Embedded software and opportunity to extend to Cloud application development for end to end solution.
Does Feasibility study, design and determine coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines.
Executes and writes portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of software; identifies and debugs issues with code and suggests changes or improvements
Provides design input, and feedback for design and development reviews across multiple organizations and architectures
Guides and mentors less- experienced staff members to set an example of software design and development innovation and excellence.
Participates in and provides input on process for selection of future technical leaders.
Identify the Industry best architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.
Communicates strategy and technology roadmaps to leadership, industry partners and customers; leverages recognized technical and business expertise to influence, guide, and shape business strategy and decision- making at the highest organizational levels.
What you will bring :
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's, Master's or PHD degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
Typically 4 to 15+ years experience
Required Knowledge / Skills and Abilities
Good in system programming in linux Environments (multi-threading/socket programing/shared memory/system calls/synchronizations)
Strong knowledge in networking fundamentals and protocols - good to have WiFi background
Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills. Hands on experience with standard debugging forensic tools to isolate the problem
Expert in one of the programming languages, Python, Go Language, Java, Scala, C/C++.
Good knowledge in WLAN, Dataplane, NPU
Good knowledge in Virtualization, Drivers, Hypervisors, NFV, SDN, VM, Dockers
Must have worked in agile environment, with CICD exposure
Absolute hands-on and can-do attitude is expected.
A fast learner and quick thinker is desired
Software testing methodology, including execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools
History of innovation with multiple patents or deployed solutions in the field of software design.
Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at the most senior organizational levels.
Knowledge in areas of performance and scale testing, and performance measurement approaches is value add
