Intern – AI Product Management

Skillsoft is currently seeking a Summer Intern to join the Platform product management team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with Principal AI product manager and VP of platform product management to work on the AI research and prototyping on highly visible products. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Collaborate with senior product managers and engineers to support AI and machine learning research and prototyping
• Assist in designing and implementing basic AI/ML models and experiments under supervision
• Document research findings and contribute to the development of prototypes
• Collaborate in team meetings to provide updates on progress and gather feedback
• Support the team with data collection, preprocessing, and analysis tasks
• Responsible for testing and evaluating AI/ML prototypes for performance and usability

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 

• 0-2 years of professional experience and currently pursuing or recently completed a BS or MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, models, LLM and similar AI technologies
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R
• Solid MS Office Suite experience and ability to document research findings
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn

Preferred Experience

• Experience with JIRA, Confluence or other Agile software development tools 
• Knowledge and experience with data analysis or prototyping tools 

Target hourly range for this job requisition is anticipated to be $18-$20 hourly. 

Approximate Internship length July - August 2025
