Join the dynamic Registration Operations team, a critical function within Salesforce Strategic Events responsible for delivering seamless and efficient registration experiences for our global events portfolio. This team manages the end-to-end registration process, from strategy and build to onsite execution and reporting. We are a collaborative and results-oriented group dedicated to operational excellence and creating positive attendee journeys.

About the Role:

The Manager, Registration Operations will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and optimization of registration operations for our key paid events, with a significant focus on Dreamforce, our largest annual conference. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving process improvements, managing complex projects, collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners, and contributing to the overall success of the Registration Operations function. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and attendee experience for a critical event portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end registration strategy, planning, testing and execution for a portfolio of paid events, including comprehensive delivery for Dreamforce.

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize standardized processes, workflows, and documentation (e.g., playbooks, SSOTs) to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability across events. Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Event Technology, Marketing, Legal, Security, Creative, etc.) and manage relationships with external vendors and agencies to define requirements, align strategies, and ensure seamless execution for the assigned event portfolio.

  • Oversee critical operational details including access control, security protocols, badge rules, design processes, and check-in procedures.

  • Analyze registration data and provide actionable insights and reporting for assigned events.

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues related to registration operations for the paid events portfolio.

  • Act as a subject matter expert and key contributor within the Registration Operations team, supporting overall team goals, initiatives, and fostering a positive, supportive, and professional team culture.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in event registration operations or a related field, with demonstrated experience managing complex paid events.

  • Strong track record of identifying and implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.

  • Experience managing relationships with external vendors or agencies.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously for a portfolio of events.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Experience managing registration for large-scale conferences.

  • Familiarity with major event registration platforms (e.g., Rainfocus, Cvent).

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $138,800 to $190,900.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $138,800 to $190,900.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
