What You Will Do
- Creates effective store graphics and visual merchandising on time and within brand architecture
- Communicates with appropriate members of the Store Environment Team and Display Management Team to ensure accuracy
- Keeps the customer at front of mind while developing point of purchase materials to meet the needs of internal clients
- Manages tasks to ensure projects are on time and on budget
- Participates in the evolution of and follows Lowe's Visual Standards Guidelines
- Updates vendor signage and makes recommendations on revisions to assure compliance with the Visual Standards Guide
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:• 4-Year Degree in Graphic Design, Commercial Art or equivalent• 2-5 Years of Experience in Retail design
• Strong skills in the following MAC based applications: InDesign, Illustrator and PhotoShop• Strong creative conceptual skills and ability to communicate those ideas effectively
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment• Very strong time management/organization skills• Strong project management skills• Effective oral and written communication skills• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously• Ability to independently manage all aspects of a project effectively including quality & cost control, on-time delivery and postmortem analysis.
