Your Impact on Our Mission 

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Clinical Fit team, you will work on a core problem we are solving for patients and providers – helping to connect the right patients with the right providers. Our ability to accurately match Patients with the right Providers is our competitive advantage. For Providers, this means Zocdoc delivers high-value patients who are eligible for their care. For Patients, this makes Zocdoc the most reliable place to find a doctor who meets their specific needs. You'll lead the domain modeling, architecture and development of systems that enable patients and providers to be matched based on their needs and preferences, providing a best in class experience regardless of provider specialization areas.

Your day to day is…

  • Architecting and shipping code for key roadmap initiatives.
  • Building and fostering relationships with engineers on your team and partners in Product, Design, and Analytics to refine and execute the product vision.
  • Improving the reliability and accuracy of our core data and booking attribution systems.
  • Mentoring engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and 1:1 pairing.
  • Working with cutting edge GenAI tools and technology, with an eye towards future goals like AI-generated insights and custom-queried dashboards.

Zocdoc is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Salary ranges are determined through alignment with market data. Base salary offered is determined by a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills. Certain positions are also eligible for variable pay and/or equity; your recruiter will discuss the full compensation package details.
NYC Base Salary Range
$210,000$270,000 USD
