The Role

Job Description SummaryChannel Partner Manager for South East Europe, overseeing Sales and Service Sales for the Ultrasound Segment.
Responsible for driving sales and operating profit growth, market share expansion, and enhancing strategic partnerships within the channel network. Operates independently within the company's commercial policies, budgets, and guidelines.
The ideal candidate will excel in building strong interpersonal relationships with partners, managing direct business projects when necessary, and collaborating with product managers to design and execute go-to-market strategies, education programs, KOL management, and inventory management.
High levels of commercial judgment and extensive knowledge of the ultrasound market are essential to succeed in this fast-growing medical imaging segment.
Additionally, the candidate should be capable of driving or piloting the adoption of various data-driven initiatives within the company.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Sales:

  • Responsible for selling to or through partners and distributors. Required to support the sales channel and potentially develop new partnerships at the Care Area or Geography level.
  • The ideal candidate should have specialized knowledge of Ultrasound Medical Imaging products, markets, sales processes, and Medical Diagnostics customer groups. The role requires strong commercial awareness and is expected to influence the development of strategy within the sales territory, including resource control.
  • Capable of assessing the quality of information provided and asking pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and construct and provide recommendations. Utilizes multiple internal and some external sources outside of their own function to help arrive at a decision.
  • Collaborates constructively with other Business Segments in Multimodality projects and when deciding on overall strategy for specific projects or country specific actions.

P&L Ownership : 

  • Actively owns all elements of the business KPIs : Sales, Orders, Margin, Inventory, Cash, Market Share.
  • Accurately estimates Market and Market trend per country, providing all necessary data to Headquarters. Participates actively in shaping next year's planning in terms of KPIs and resources needed to perform according to market dynamics.
  • Estimates quarterly performance and results with accuracy providing proactive feedback on potential upsides or headwinds.

Strategy – Collaboration with Product Management and Marketing Team:

  • Shapes the appropriate product strategy in accordance with the Product Management team’s guidance and priorities, customizing the value proposition and pricing according to each country’s needs to optimize revenue growth and profitability.
  • Uses a high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns, or customers.
  • Supports clinical focus, KOL network nurturing, and development.
  • Advises and supports the execution of educational, marketing, and events activities. Co-shapes the Marketing and Omnichannel activities needed in each country to maximize results and market exposure, along with the Product Management team’s priorities.

Channel Management:

  • Required to drive continuous change in enhancing and optimizing the way we work with our channel partners.
  • Promotes data collection and its proper usage to drive calculated decisions and impact market penetration.
  • Continuously advocates for increased market visibility to provide proper feedback to R&D and Product Management teams.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' opinions on particular topics. May guide others to consider different perspectives.

People Leader:

  • Responsible for one support person, who should be developing and growing into the role. Additional resources might be needed to cover the role’s needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • For roles outside of the USA: This role requires significant experience in Sales & Channel Sales. The knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the medical imaging equipment business.

  • Established project management skills.
  • Experience with channel partner management is considered a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of the ultrasound market and products is a key differentiation factor for the role.
